See Also: " Chili Cheer " & " What Happens When You Put Fire to Ice and Lookalikes "   This past Sunday my friends Kraig, Stacey, and I checked out the Hunter Ice Festival downtown.  While checking out the ice sculptures we did a chili crawl as well as had some ice cream.  Ice cream?  Yeah it sounds crazy I know but it tasted really good. I'm a kinda surprised that no one has smashed into this yet.  :P

I’m back from a trip to Florida that started on Thursday, 12/15 and ended on Wednesday, 12/21. Thursday night/Friday On this trip was supposed to be my father, mother, Uncle Art and his daughter, Aunt Julie and her son and daughter.  My parents and I left with my uncle in two cars.  My aunt and her kids were feeling sick so they stayed behind for an extra day.  We left around 1930 but an hour later we had only traveled 15 miles because we needed to make a stop at Walmart for food and supplies. Our travel time was supposed to be 20 hours but mostly because of directions snafu in Atlanta and an extended search near Robins AFB, Georgia for pecans, it turned out to be 27 hours.  That was excruciating let me tell you. There's some pretty nasty weather outside!  I've got the day off tomorrow so I don't have to wake up too early to uncover my car and head to work.  Instead, I get to wake up a little later, uncover my car, and head to the dentist's office. I don't usually talk about work but it seems like it has engulfed my life.  It's been very tough with some new workload as well as trying to cover for people in other buildings.  One nice thing was some personal words of thanks from the ops manager. I've uploaded some pictures from my trip to Florida last month.  I had meant to make a post on them sooner but I got lazy.  Plus, some of the picture files were at my parents' house.  I'm not sure if I will write too much about the trip and instead just post pictures.  But as a teaser:
