Will I ever get unpacked?
I didn't realize I was such a slow poke when it comes to moving. When I was moving around up in Lansing, I had to do everything in one go. Since I'm only moving a few miles from where I used to live, I'm taking my sweet time. Three weeks after the official move in, the living room is still holding boxes of trash and stuff that I haven't unpacked yet. This weekend, I hope to finally get everything placed, that way I can actually take some pictures of the place and post them here.

"Slow Poke"? Sometimes I like a good slow poke but...that's probably not what you meant.
As regards unpacking, I once moved twice in as many years with a boyfriend. On the second move we realised we were shifting a dozen boxes which hadn't been opened after the first move - eighteen months before.
So don't worry about it. Unpacking can take years.
where did you end up moving to?
@Kapitano: I've managed to get almost everything unpacked. It's just my archived stuff that still sits in boxes that were shoved into a closet.
@Season: Bucktown near Lowery's.
