Full Circle
There was an issue at work. I won't go into specifics but I was being penalized because of bad circumstances. I was given two choices: live with it and not cause problems or move. I moved. It is possible to move an entire work area when you are on crutches. I wouldn't recommend it but it's possible. So I've kicked out some squatters that were using my old original desk and took it back. I'm back to the cubicle where I started from and back with a couple old coworkers that are a blast to work with. It feels like we've picked up where we left off...gosh... almost 10 months ago. I think that this is going to be permanent (as permanent is defined by this company). If I end up moving again soon, I think IT is going to toss me out into the street. Those poor guys are moving me around so much. They probably should just attach wheels to everything just to be prepared.

At least you got to move your stuff and were told about the change. Last year when my co-worker moved out of my classroom I came in on Monday and half of EVERYTHING was gone. She had gone so far as to taking the whiteboard.
I would like to see you teach a class. Unlike last time, I wouldn't be one of your students. [cough]Choate[/cough]
I teach in an intercity school so once you have established yourself as an immovable force your job becomes a lot easier. I think back to how we behaved and even our worst day is 10X better than these kids bast day, I really would like to see what some of our teachers would do if they worked at my school. If you have ever seen Bringin' down the house my kids' lingustic patters are much like Queen Latifa's though they don't actually know the correct way to speak.
It is certainly opposite to what I am used to.
Well at least you like your co-workers right?
