My Fall Movie

There were plenty of movies that I wanted to see this late spring and summer. Then there was hardly anything to look forward to. Last night while accompanying Erin, Jason, and Kaitlin (I think that's her name) to see "Sydney White," I saw the preveiw for "Elizabeth: The Golden Age." I'm a huge fan of "Elizabeth" plus, I like period films anyways so I'm excited.

Tell you what, if you come over sometime in late October, I'll do it. I'll even take you to the fancy cinema across the border. :)

I want to see that too, but is it meant to be historically innacurate or is that just hollywood using it's usual "magic"

^I'd imagine that it is as historically accurate as the first one was. Really, who wants to seen an ugly Queen Elizabeth? The thing about these kinds of movies, though, is that it makes a lot of people aware of the history and some of them will be exposed to a more accurate story as a result of it. Think of the Battle of Thermopolae (however that's spelled). Outside of the military community, very few people knew that happened until "300."

I just wasn't sure about Elizbeth ever doning her armour and leading her troops, but that could be due to my lack of knowledge of Elizabethian history.
I hear they're also making a film about Mary Queen of Scots.
Regardless this new Betty looks FAB!
