Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich—it’s so much more fun to say his name rather than write it—was arrested this morning. It is alleged that Gov. Blagojevich was attempting to sell President-elect Obama’s Senate seat. (If you didn’t know, in Illinois, the Governor can fill a vacant Senate seat by appointment.)
Should he be convicted, removed from office, and sent to prison… could we possibly set him up next to his predecessor, Gov. George Ryan? I think that they would make excellent neighbors.
