I saw a new set of commercials about the series premier of Viva Laughlin on CBS staring Lloyd Owen. And I thought, "Geeze. Another one?!" Has America run out of resources to not only make an original series but also hire our own actors? We've already got enough Vegas/gambling shows and we already have enough Brit actors putting on fake American accents.

Could we mix it up a little?
I saw a new set of commercials about the series premier of Viva Laughlin on CBS staring Lloyd Owen. And I thought, "Geeze. Another one?!" Has America run out of resources to not only make an original series but also hire our own actors? We've already got enough Vegas/gambling shows and we already have enough Brit actors putting on fake American accents.

I think that some producers see a formula that works and then try to mix in their own take of the formula (bad analogy but like Coke and Pepsi, or Sprite and Seven Up).
I agree I think I'm ready for something new in the television market.
