And I Feel Fine

It’s happened before and it will happen again. I think that my blog has gone off of what it was intended for all along. Thankfully, a former blogger gave me a slap to the face to clue me in. Besides not feeling like blogging because of work, I have been trying as hard as I can to make sure that I don’t offend people. It may not seem like it to some people considering some of the political posts but really, I’ve been trying to walk a line to make sure that the people who do read this blog stay around. I fear offending them and I fear them quitting on me because I push their buttons when really nothing that I write is directed personally at them. That’s not what this blog was created for in the first place. Actually, I only expected stray comments to come in. Now I get them every other post and a lot of them come from regular readers—all I adore. But I think I need to go back to writing about the stupid things and not worrying so much that I cater to an audience. So sorry if blog posts about Goldfish crackers turn ya off.

This all came about because I've downloaded IM applications again since I've got high(er) speed internet. And I've got a webcam that I am eager to try out. Add me.

My two pennies worth of advice: Don't worry overmuch about offending people. The kind of people who take great offence at strangers having opinions...tend to be the ones with the most offensive opinions and the biggest inclination to force them on others.

I'm a socialist and an atheist, I sometimes write about both on my little blog, you're neither but you still read me and don't despise me for it.

For what it's worth, I think it's more important to be yourself than to pander to the worst readers - those who can't handle disagreement.
