I had called Dad on Tuesday to see if he would have liked to come up early on Wednesday to hopefully beat out the snow that would be coming. It was supposed to turn over from rain to snow around noon but I thought that if we started out earlier, it wouldn't be as bad. Instead, he came at 2 and we went to Sparrow Hospital. I don't understand why he wanted to pay my hospital bills in person. So we didn't end up getting on the highway until 3.
