At least there was no deer this time.
Last night Kacey texted me to ask if I wanted to go check out the Perseids. I have to admit, I was a little spooked because the last time we tried this, it turned out to be a little disaster. We made our way to just north of Galien where we could be as far away from the city lights as we could reasonably go. It was a beautiful night. The skies were clear and there wasn't a moon so we got to see some spectacular entries. I think we spent almost two hours there soaking it all in. Luckily I brought some hot tea. It may be the middle of summer but dang was it chilly.
