Social Site BS

An article from the BBC says that there is a class divide when it comes to the social networking sites, MySpace and Facebook. There was a SIX MONTH study on something that I could have told you right off the bat.

The research suggests those using Facebook come from wealthier homes and are more likely to attend college.

By contrast, MySpace users tend to get a job after finishing high school rather than continue their education.

Now here's something that was missing from the report which may put in another facet to this "research." Until recently, Facebook was only open to university students. MySpace is open to everybody. So yes, Facebook is going to have a different demographic than the other site. Geeze. Who handed out the grants to those numbskulls?

I've got an account at both. Add me!
