In this case, it was caused when some idiot packed the ice packs directly onto the product. Normally, they put a buffer in between the ice packs and the M&M’s. The bloom is not harmful and it doesn’t affect the taste but we can’t sell it like that. If you were paying nine dollars per pound, would you want it?
