I just heard this a few minutes ago on the local news. Apparently, Congressman Fred Upton will be leading the congressional delegation to Rosa Parks's funneral. It certainly is an honor, but I am wondering just how he got chosen. Why am I posting about it? If had been anyone else, I probably wouldn't have but Congressman Fred Upton represents my district (which is MI-6) in the U.S. House of Representatives.

my super liberal friend at work has a big old crush on his assistant.
Oh, I'd believe it. But you know, your friend's crush might be more compatible than you think. Not all assistants see eye to eye with their employer. I certainly didn't always when I was working for Rep. Neal Nitz.
Thanks for commenting Amy!
