Did we miss the election lull?

The Michigan legislature is talking about moving up the primaries to January. The thinking is that Michigan would have more political clout if it was one of the early states to decide presidential candidates. Michigan isn’t the only one. Take a look at Florida and South Carolina. New Hampshire and Iowa which are the first to kick off are both having to plan on having their primaries even earlier with possible candidate selections in December… of this year! A woman can find out who her candidate is, get pregnant, give birth, and have that candidate kiss the baby before election night. Yech. Wake me up when September ends.
